TSB

TSB Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral sciences (TSB) is the social faculty of Tilburg University. 5 Bachelor and 8 Master programs are part of TSB, including psychology, sociology and multidisciplinary studies with social aspects. One of the key points of the faculty is the improvement of mutual cooperation and team spirit. Besides the proceedings of the faculty, the four associations representing the different studies also contribute to this cause. Complex (psychology), Versot (Sociology), INPUT (human resource studies) and POLIS (organization studies and global management of social issues) are the four independent study associations that commit themselves to the professional and personal development of students, as well as facilitate the contact with and between fellow students. Next to organizing activities for their respective studies, the four associations interdisciplinarily cooperate to work towards the goals of the faculty.

Through cooperation, a larger range of events with easily accessible characters can be offered to a wider group of students. By doing so, not only a wider group of students is reached, but it becomes more attractive for external parties to cooperate in the organization of events. Several coordinating committees evaluate the course of events per association, so that they can learn from each other and combine forces. There’s also a committee within TSB that allows students of the social faculty to mingle at parties throughout the year: the BEHAVE. This year, the associations will organize a career oriented event where students get the chance to take a sneak peek in the world of professional enterprises. During this event, several activities will be organized, such as workshops, presentations by companies and a networking drink. All in all, the TSB committees work year-round to maintain and improve the mutual cooperation and team spirit of the social faculty.
